A second OOC post. :O But I shall share the experience of going on subways and walking through Boston. Because they amuse me. HAHAHAHA.
Me and twelve other people went to the Muesem of Science in Boston earlier today, and I went on my FIRST subway. :O!! Okay...Let me tell you that it was absolutely disgusting. And, I swear, there was a guy with tourettes in one of the stations. He was screaming, "HEEEEEEEEY!" for a solid five minutes. Anywho...
The first train we went on was acceptable. The other one, we were squished into and people I don't know were all pressed up against me. Then we got on the WRONG subway, and had to go to dinner before we went to the Omni Theater. We went to a German restaurant, which was very good. But the people next to us were clearly drunk, and I saw three jugs of beer being led to their table. It was kinda funny.
When we were walking over to the German place, we ran across the street. The hand signal thing wouldn't change. We almost got hit by a CAR. :) Lovely. (We were clearly not city people.) And then, for the rest of the night, we ran across streets before hand signals said we could go. It was fun. XD.
The Science Muesem was awesome. There were stairs that, when you walked on them, made music! The Omni Theater made me light-headed at first, though. The roof and some of the walls were engulfed with screen. My new friend, Abby, and I got glared at by some bitter old woman for laughing at the beginning. The lady who was testing the sound was weird. <.< The movie was good, though. It was about a guy who climbed an area in The Alps. But the thing I learned most is that I am NEVER doing that. It looked extreeeemely scary.
We stayed in the giftshop for about an hour, playing with toys. :D. One of the people who came with us was a guy fresh from Korea. He was really nice, and told me that my cat's name in Korean means "apple." His name was Tesung. On the last subway, I almost fell into some guy's lap. That thing is WAY too rickety.
All in all, it was very, very fun. WHEEE!
