(( BYEEE, and second half of the story. ))
((  It is with a heavy heart I bid my fellow LiveJournal-ians adieu...

FOREVER!

Just kidding. I got you, didn't I? DIDN'T I?!

Moving on...I will be gone from LiveJournal for a bit, but I don't know how long. This makes it crucial for you ALL to be on WoW. (I'm looking at you, Myn. And here is the second half of the story, as promised. ))

Eleanea drew her dagger swiftly across the throat of the towering Troll. He roared with rage as his head fell. The scream continued to ring in her ears even as she kicked the head off the mountain. The rain was still pouring, and she had braided her hair, the end tied off with a thin golden ribbon from the bodice of her gown.
She was sick of the rain, and had been coughing for the past hour. She felt weak and could hardly move her legs. As she reached the bottom of the mountain, however, she collapsed. From that point, all was black.

At least, for a little while. When Eleanea awoke, she found herself bundled up next to a merrily crackling fire. She could hear bustling behind her, but she was too tired to turn around. She looked up at a high window. Glorious, glorious golden sunlight was streaming into the room, drowning Eleanea in a pool of light. She smiled, but someone stood in front of her. His golden hair was almost blinding.
"Kelan." She was surprised, and somewhat relieved. He grinned jauntily.
"You sleep far too much, you know," he said. He turned around, and an old woman with a friendly face and gray hair put in a bun appeared.
"Oh, she's awake!" the old woman said in a sweet, warm voice. Eleanea smiled and made herself sit up. "What a pretty girl you found, Kelan." Kelan blushed, but Eleanea intervened.
"I thank you both for your hospitality, but---" The old woman cut her off.
"No, dear. You simply must stay and have a bite to eat," she said kindly. The younger woman could hardly refuse. Forcing a smile, she nodded.
"I...Alright," she said, though she really didn't want to stay. Not that she wasn't grateful for their kindness; on the contrary, she was surprised and happy about it. But she didn't want help on this 'I'm-going-to-be-independent' journey. She would now admit that she was being proud; but back then, there was not a chance she would say anything of the sort.

Eleanea packed up her things, glowing and joyous. The meal she had with Kelan, his sister, Eane, and his grandmotherhad been full of laughs, and she felt elated. She liked them all very much. But now, she felt a squirm in her stomach everytime she saw Kelan; it was sour and sweet, but not in an unpleasant way. She had never liked a person so much as she liked him. She learned that he was a Paladin, and was just eighteen, two years older than she. Eane was Eleanea's age exactly. She smiled as she slung her backpack over her shoulder, and Kelan entered the room.
"You'll really go on your adventures alone?" he asked. She tilted her head.
"I think I may," she said. He smirked.
"Oh? And what if you pass out again?" She gazed at him. His eyes were even more laughing and teasing, now. Eleanea clasped a hand over the glass nightingale pendant, which was as long as her hair.
"Perhaps a knight in shining armor will come and rescue me again," she teased, and turned towards the door. Kelan blinked, and then quickly followed after her.
"I'm coming with you," he informed her. Eleanea turned slowly, stared at him, and walked out the door. She heard him follow her, and despite her not wanting help, she couldn't help but smile.
