I have gotten my hawkstrider! She's a beautiful, midnight sky black. She has a sweet disposition, but could easily become protective. I named her Mithiri. I found that I enjoy riding very much. 'Tis a wonderful way to forget everything around you; all you have is your mount, you, and the world. 'Tis also a wonderful way to see said world. Mithiri can climb over the tallest mountains and dash across the smoothest plains. How I love the cool air on my face and the wind stroking my hair! We ride hard and fast, never side-saddle, like my sisters did. (My foster sisters, not Athela and Malendria.) I have discovered all this in one day. I love my darling mount.
