It's Scary How They Know...
My third day after leaving Silvermoon. I don't dare pen my whereabouts here, lest I should lose this journal, but I can say that I am safely hidden. I miss everyone dreadfully...But they may not return such thoughts. I have no idea when I will return...I know that I am cold, and lonely, and frightened, but safe. And, surprisingly the enough, the title of this entry is not about Gynata. It's about my sisters.

They were able to find me, only goodness knows how. They came upon me while I was passed out, freezing and bleeding. I had fallen off a cliff. Athela quickly healed me and I awoke. (( Yeah, I changed her name to Athela. Athena is a Greek goddess, and I'm just now learning this. XD )) I thrashed around at first, unsure where I was or who was looming over me. I soon calmed, but not by much.
"What the hell are you two doing here?!" I snarled. Malendria narrowed her eyes at my anger.
"Dragging you back to Silvermoon. You'll die out here, Ele!" she cried. I was surprised to see tears in her eyes. "Gynata can do nothing to you! Open your eyes, Eleanea! We all know you're no idiot...But now, you're certainly acting like one, and you're just too blind to see it."
"I've become paranoid, Malendria. In case you don't remember, I was attacked by my own sister. We all thought that couldn't happen, either," I shot back. Athela knelt down next to me, in her quiet way.
"Eleanea...Dearest, please. See reason. Your friends in Silvermoon...They won't let anything happen to you. They care about you."
"It's not about me, Athela...!" I stopped, looking at her gentle, sad face. I softened. "It's not about me. It's making sure Gynata doesn't get the satisfaction of...of anything."
"You and your bloody pride!" roared Malendria. Athela gripped my hand. We're used to Malendria's hot temper, and we patiently awaited more insults, none of which she ever meant. But the shouting never came. She, instead, dropped to her knees beside me.
"You're killing your poor brother. He's worried himself into illness. Please, Eleanea, please. Come back," she whispered. I hugged her tightly and whispered back.
"I'll be back soon, I swear. Give Aarfen my love...Tell him not to worry. I'm a big girl. I can handle myself." We all rose, and with one last hug, Athela and Malendria departed. I was extremely sorry to see them go.

The sun is shining down gloriously, but somehow, it seems a little less bright.
