Lost & Found
Dear journal, how long ago I wrote last! But I fear I lost you, after our departure from the Salty Sailor Tavern. I just recently discovered you, lost under a large amount of hay under that loose floorboard. And how much has happened! How to begin... Well, first off...I did get together with Verzweiflung. But let us say that did not go well. At all. I was not quite myself one day...I was attempting to kill Elarissa, Jandercia's daughter. In attempt to get me back to myself, Verz slapped me...I became frightened of him, and colder. Steyr was my only comfort. He roared on how it was unacceptable. I protested, but to no avail. After spending much time with Steyr, I realized something that shook me. I never stopped loving him, that much was clear. I left Verz, and how very reluctant he was. It made me absolutely terrible, but it had to be done. He now refuses to speak to me, and I cannot say that I blame him. Jandercia's darkened soul has been replaced with a pure one! But Sellairia, the Forsaken warlock, believes that she may turn evil once more. Because of this, she thinks she should be killed. But first, Sellairia interrogated Jandercia. I pray that she passed. Trell, Verz, and I did not fight our way into the center of Maraudon for nothing!! Trell is unable to use magic, and I killed Jandercia's darkened side. We were both, needless to say, very tired. I pulled spikes out of Verz's arm. He didn't say thank you, either...But it is not like I expected him to. Oh, well. The day after the puryifying, I was oddly happy. Steyr laughed the whole day through, watching me twirl about and sing my happiness. We have made a bargain; if I smile more, Steyr will drink more. I've been doing well at keeping my bargain. And lastly, I got a professional job as a minstrel and am now teaching the apprentices in the towers of Silvermoon. In two week's time, I will be staying in the towers for four days. They have not yet explain why, but I'm sure it is important. I must go! I'm late for work. |
